" Steve after destroying the LSU Tigers a year after only scoring 28 points against them--"I guess they won't be giving any clinics on how to stop the Gators this offseason.

" --Steve after the one point OT Alabama loss snapped a 30 game home winning streak, was asked how he would approach a situation like South Carolina's, where the Gamecocks currently own the nation's longest Division I-A losing streak at 15 games. He responded that he had his own problems to worry about. "Well, we're in a losing streak down here right now too, so we're trying to regroup,

" --Steve after Florida defeated Kentucky 73-7 in the second game of 1994, Spurrier quipped to reporters about Wildcat coach Bill Curry: "I wonder who Kentucky is going to get to coach?
